Wongs Jewellers x Alder Hey Children’s Charity Collection

Collaborative Post¦ Alder Hey Children’s Charity raise funds for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool. With 330,000 patients and families every year, they are the busiest children’s hospital in the UK. Being a Mum who has had a seriously ill baby in hospital, I am more appreciative than ever for the hospitals that take care of our little ones. As such, I am keen to show you the super cute collaboration between Alder Hey and Wongs Jewellers!

Baby #2: Bump Pictures and Weeks 12-20

TW: Miscarriage¦ I’m now half way through my pregnancy and half way through the second trimester! Sadly, I don’t have the energy people told me I’d have once the first trimester passed. However, the good news is that I have found the energy to write about the first half of the 2nd trimester today. Bizarrely, I’ve been able to write it in one go, which is virtually unheard of these days (hooray!) So, here’s how it’s going, as well as some bump photos!

Soothing the smallest with Sudocrem and Ickle Pickles (+WIN!)

Sponsored Post – Charity Campaign¦ With 100,000 babies being born prematurely each year in the UK, help is needed. The NHS are wonderful. However, they’re just not kitted out enough with the specialist equipment needed for such tiny babies. In a business first for Sudocrem, they have teamed up with Ickle Pickles, who raise money to buy vital equipment for sick and premature babies. Carry on reading to find out more and be in with a chance to win a prize.

How to tell your child you’re pregnant following a miscarriage

TW: Miscarriage¦ Finding out I was pregnant a few months after a miscarriage was such a rollercoaster of emotions. It wasn’t long before I was wiped out with morning sickness and exhaustion and I knew I had to tell my 3 year old daughter why Mummy was feeling unwell. I didn’t want her to worry something was seriously wrong with me. However, I was worried about telling her I was having a baby in case I lost it again. Therefore, I had to give what I was going to tell her a little thought.

Baby #2: Bump pictures and the trials of my first trimester

TW: Miscarriage¦ It feels a little odd writing this blog post now, as I’ve now reached 19 weeks! However, I didn’t dare to write it when I was in my first trimester. I’d started writing about the first trimester with my second pregnancy, when it ended in miscarriage. This time round I’ve been cautious and perhaps a little superstitious. Nevertheless, the time has now come to reflect on those first 12 weeks and share them, along with some early bump pics!
