Collaborative Post¦ The majority of householders will be as concerned about the outside of their home as the inside. That is, they will want it to look pleasing to the eye in terms of its curb appeal. This is how the outside world will view our home. It can say much about us. So, it is important to give it thought and come up with eye-catching designs that someone else can then help us create. Having said that, many firms that landscape will come up with some gorgeous designs for us. This is whether they are seen at the front or enjoyed with privacy around the back. Firms such as Above All Masonry Design Inc. make this their business. Let us then explore just what we could create for the outside of our home with the help of such companies.

House renovation so far and aims for the rest of 2021!
Sponsored Post¦ We moved house last November, as we wanted more room due to our impending arrival. I’ve written about some of my ideas on here already, actually! Baby Reuben is now 8 months old and we have been busier than ever. As such, it sometimes feels like we haven’t got much done. I still keep referring to it as our ‘new house’ although we’ve actually been here for 10 months now. I think it’s probably due to the fact that absolutely nothing is decorated, let alone decorated to our taste yet. Although it doesn’t feel like we’ve accomplished much, we actually have done quite a bit when I look back over the year!
Making plans for our new garden
Collaborative Post¦ We moved into our new house in November. Well, I say new. It’s been 8 months since we moved in, although it certainly doesn’t feel like it! The only thing we’ve managed to do so far is the majority of a rewire, some plumbing work done and some brickwork repointing. As for the garden, I’ve barely even touched it. With Reuben arriving at the beginning of January, I’ve had my hands full! That hasn’t stopped me from dreaming about what I’m going to do with the garden though.
Week One: 30 Days Wild 2021
Last Tuesday, I stumbled across 30 Days Wild in a Facebook group I’m in. It’s a fun challenge set by The Wildlife Trusts to take part in ‘one random act of wildness’ each day. I immediately set about planning some activities for us for the month ahead! When I told Autumn about it, she seemed excited too. I’m hoping that this will help her to learn about and appreciate the natural world more and for us both to feel more connected to nature. Too often we’re rushing around busily and just don’t notice things. Here’s how our first week went.
