House renovation so far and aims for the rest of 2021!

Baby Reuben is now 8 months old and we have been busier than ever. As such, it sometimes feels like we haven’t got much done. I still keep referring to it as our ‘new house’ although we’ve actually been here for 10 months now. I think it’s probably due to the fact that absolutely nothing is decorated, let alone decorated to our taste yet. Although it doesn’t feel like we’ve accomplished much, we actually have done quite a bit when I look back over the year!

Making plans for our new garden

Collaborative Post¦ We moved into our new house in November. Well, I say new. It’s been 8 months since we moved in, although it certainly doesn’t feel like it! The only thing we’ve managed to do so far is the majority of a rewire, some plumbing work done and some brickwork repointing. As for the garden, I’ve barely even touched it. With Reuben arriving at the beginning of January, I’ve had my hands full! That hasn’t stopped me from dreaming about what I’m going to do with the garden though.

Week One: 30 Days Wild 2021

Last Tuesday, I stumbled across 30 Days Wild in a Facebook group I’m in. It’s a fun challenge set by The Wildlife Trusts to take part in ‘one random act of wildness’ each day. I immediately set about planning some activities for us for the month ahead! When I told Autumn about it, she seemed excited too. I’m hoping that this will help her to learn about and appreciate the natural world more and for us both to feel more connected to nature.
