However, there are things that you can do to make the dark mornings a bit more tolerable!

Gifted & Sponsored ¦ For years, I’ve been toying with the idea of a gallery wall. Done right, they look amazing. Yet I’ve always shied away from it for the fear of putting holes in the wall only for it to end up looking cluttered and not as I envisioned. Last November, we moved house and we’ve just got to the point where we can actually start decorating soon (hooray!) Ahead of this, I’ve been using Desenio’s fantastic gallery wall tool to collate some of their beautiful prints into the perfect gallery wall for my bedroom.

An interview with Autumn, age 5
When Autumn was a baby, this set of questions circulated around many parenting blogs. I couldn’t wait for her to be able to talk and now she’s never quiet! By the time she turned 2, she was speaking enough for us to have a decent conversation. As such, I asked her these questions for the first time! Since then, I’ve asked her these questions each year. It’s fascinating to listen to her answers and document them year after year. Some of them stay the same, while other change quite drastically! Here’s a little insight into Autumn’s perspective on life as a (just turned) 5 year old!
Book Review: A Boy, His Bear and a Bully
Book Review¦ I’m always on the look out for books for my children – I can’t resist a bookshop or a good supermarket offer! Fun books are all good and well, but I really love it when they teach them something at their level. With Autumn starting school last month, I was worried about other children upsetting her. Most parents probably worry about that, as it’s the often the first time they’re not there to help their child in such situations. I wanted to find a way of introducing the idea of bullies to Autumn and how to deal with them, just in case. However, I wasn’t sure how to and didn’t want to make her worried. Then, I was offered a copy of A Boy, His Bear and a Bully by Katie Flannigan and P.J. Reece to review and I thought it looked just the thing. Here’s what we thought.

8 things I love about autumn
Before I begin, this post is about the season, not my daughter! When I think of autumn, the first thing I think of is the charm of the golden sunlight shining through the resplendent crimson, titian and ochre leaves. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl, who coincidentally was born on the autumnal equinox. While I’m always sad to say goodbye to the warmth of summer, there is plenty to adore about the autumn.
