What’s On In Medway & Gravesham February Half Term 2022

It feels like Christmas has only just happened. Yet here we are, it’s February half term next week! I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for things to do in half term for kids in Gravesham and Medway. Some things were booked up in January (while my head was still trying to recover from Christmas and a million birthdays). However, all the things in this post still have availability at the time of writing!

Celebrating Reuben’s 1st Birthday

At the beginning of January, it wasn’t just me with a milestone birthday. A few days after I celebrated my 30th, it was Reuben’s 1st birthday. I can’t believe my little rainbow baby is a year old already; it just doesn’t seem possible that I now gave birth to him over a year ago. For Autumn’s 1st birthday, we had a party. I did consider doing the same for Reuben, but then I looked at things from a different standpoint. Bring Your Own Baby (BYOB) Comedy at the Orchard Theatre

Review (Gifted)¦ The other week, we did something a bit different. After our last visit to the cinema with Reuben at 8 months, we’ve given up on going to baby showings as he got irritable about not being able to crawl around. I mean, 18+ comedy that you can drink prosecco at and your baby can go to without you being seriously judged, at lunch time? Yes please!

Reuben’s christening and how I planned it

I had so much fun planning Autumn’s christening, that in many ways I couldn’t wait to do it again for Reuben. Having our children baptised is something that’s really important to me. The rest of our family and friends seem to appreciate and enjoy the occasion too! Nevertheless, my life is busier these days, so it was actually quite stressful! Both children were unwell and Reuben was teething in the few weeks leading up to Reuben’s baptism. This resulted in me having even less time than usual. Still, I pulled it off in the end (just as the bestie I vented to said I would!)
