Review: Tutti Rouge – The Fuller Bust Company

Gifted¦ I’ve previously complained on my blog about how difficult I find it to find bras in my size, never mind ones that are good value for money! I have the issue of having a small band size, whilst having an E cup. Well, Tutti Rouge (The Fuller Bust Company) have come to my rescue! They were launched in 2011 as a specialist fuller bust lingerie brand, but have actually been designing DD+ lingerie for over 25 years! They now sell supportive bras as well as comfy bralettes and sexy bodies for those who have been blessed in the boob department, as well as knickers to match. Recently I’ve put some of their lingerie to the test!

My Wedding Day: My wedding car and convoy

Tomorrow is my wedding anniversary (yay!) For the first time, I’ve actually managed to write about my wedding on the blog as I’ve kept planning to every June since Autumn was born. It’s a bit weird, since I’ve been busier than ever these last few months. I’m not knocking it though. It’s been lovely to finally write up about about the different elements of our day. So far, I’ve written about our invitations and my wedding dress. Today I’m focusing on the cars. As someone who has grown up with a love and appreciation of cars, the wedding car was always going to be just as important as the dress for me. I’d also had a special convoy planned out in my head since I got engaged. It was just a case of putting the plan into action and hoping that it would work. Largely as I would be relying on people’s good will…

Managing Your Post-Pandemic Financial Health

Collaborative Post¦ Many businesses have been able to manage activities through the pandemic by introducing remote working environments for their staff, customers, and suppliers. Unfortunately, if your business couldn’t make it work remotely, you might have found yourself out of a job for an extended period of time. Being on furlough doesn’t guarantee you can recover your full salary, which is why many individuals who were still employed during the pandemic might be facing debt.

Self-employed professionals have found it hard to make ends meet as governmental grants were not always sufficient to replace your post-pandemic income.

Added to this is the ever-rising cost of living. With trade barriers in place, increased shipping costs and good shortages, and soaring energy and petrol prices the cost of living is going up around the world; impacting the finances of everyone. Even savvy investors are feeling the pinch and wondering “why is coinspot so expensive?” so are now researching for more cost-effective currency exchange options when trading!

So what can you do to speed up the recovery process when the pandemic has badly hit your finances?

Week Three: 30 Days Wild 2021

Wow, it feels like June has gone so fast! It feels like yesterday I updated you on how week 2 of our 30 Days Wild had gone, now here I am with week 3! This week felt a bit more challenging. I think this is partially because the weather has been inclement once again, which has somewhat limited what we can do. While I don’t mind going outside in the rain, having a young baby who hates getting rain on his face doesn’t really lend itself to that! We’ve also been doing more rewiring this week so my husband has been busy as when he hasn’t been busy with his day job he’s been helping my brother with some of the elements of that. While in a nicer world I’d happily go for a walk in the woods on my own with Autumn and Reuben to do some of the activities in mind, the harsh reality is that I can’t.

Still, here is what we’ve been doing in spite of the challenges!

Book Reviews: Growing Pains & Where The Heart Is

Gifted¦ I have recently been sent two lovely books to read with Autumn that I’d like to share with you all. These are Where The Heart Is by Irma Gold and Susannah Crispe and Growing Pains by Alison McLennan and Melissa Johns. Everyone knows how important is is for children to have a good understanding of English, maths and science by the time they leave school. However, I think one of the most important things you can teach your child is to be kind. Both these books are aimed at 4-8 year olds and beautifully support that notion.

My Wedding Day: Finding the dress of my dreams!

Life is SO busy with two children. I recently wrote about my wedding invitations and how this June I was planning on FINALLY writing about all aspects of my wedding. Yep, just like I plan to every year! Yet here we are on the 18th of June and I’ve literally written that one post still. Oops! So here I am, attempting to write about another aspect of my wedding while Reuben sleeps and I try to ignore the pain of mastitis. Today I’m focusing on the dress! Arguably the most exciting part of the wedding. Like most little girls, I used to spent hours daydreaming about what my wedding dress might be like. I’d lay on the floor of my room drawing sweetheart necklines and big skirts, yet the dress I actually chose wasn’t like that at all!
