Book Review¦ I LOVED Everything Under the Sun as soon as I laid eyes on it. Children are naturally curious and it’s so important that we feed that curiosity. For them, every day brings something new and they’re so keen to ask questions and learn. This book has a question for every day of the year (366 so leap years are covered), all of which have been asked by children around the world. Experts from Heston Blumenthal to the Natural History Museum’s curators have provided the answers in a child-friendly way.

Creating the perfect gallery wall with Desenio

Yet I’ve always shied away from it for the fear of putting holes in the wall only for it to end up looking cluttered and not as I envisioned. Last November, we moved house and we’ve just got to the point where we can actually start decorating soon (hooray!) Book Review: A Boy, His Bear and a Bully
Book Review¦ I’m always on the look out for books for my children – I can’t resist a bookshop or a good supermarket offer! Fun books are all good and well, but I really love it when they teach them something at their level. With Autumn starting school last month, I was worried about other children upsetting her. Most parents probably worry about that, as it’s the often the first time they’re not there to help their child in such situations. I wanted to find a way of introducing the idea of bullies to Autumn and how to deal with them, just in case. However, I wasn’t sure how to and didn’t want to make her worried. Then, I was offered a copy of A Boy, His Bear and a Bully by Katie Flannigan and P.J. Reece to review and I thought it looked just the thing. Here’s what we thought.

Review (Gifted)¦ When you’re a breastfeeding mum, the way you shop for clothes changes. I used to buy clothes that my boobs wouldn’t come out of easily. Now, all my shopping decisions are made on how quickly I can whip them out. Many people opt for the one-up-one-down method and I do sometimes.
