Review: The Lion in Farningham

Last week we visited The Lion pub and restaurant in the quaint and historic village of Farningham in Kent. It has recently been refurbished and we were invited to try it out. We visited on a Thursday evening, taking our 2 year old daughter with us.

Food banks need our help over the summer holidays

I was on my way home from the shop yesterday lunchtime when something on the radio caught my attention. Easter Afternoon Tea at Wyevale Garden Centre

Gifted¦ On Thursday, some of my family and I went for Easter afternoon tea at Elm Court, a Wyevale Garden Centre based in Gillingham, Kent. Located next door to the cinema and Dinotropolis, it is ideally positioned for a date with dinner and a film or a day out with children. That said, our main concern before putting it to the test was our 2 year old daughter Autumn. She had never eaten Thai food before!
