Aldi Baby & Toddler Event – put this in your diary!

Okay, ‘fess up. Who else loves a good Aldi Baby and Toddler Event? I think I’ve only missed one since I found out I was pregnant with Autumn. I’d been planning to go, but I was kind of busy giving birth that morning!

The next one is tomorrow, Thursday 17th August 2017, so don’t miss out! There are lots of brilliant specialbuys for little ones, including some that I haven’t seen in my 18 months or so of attending them.

I’ll definitely be going to my local Aldi tomorrow morning to see what takes my fancy. I have to admit that I have a habit of popping in with the intention of just getting a box of baby wipes, only to come out with much more! The boxes of baby wipes are SO worth stocking up on, by the way!

With such lovely quality things at brilliant prices, I don’t really think I can be blamed for stocking up.

What’s on offer?

There’s many products across a variety of categories. I don’t want to just spout a lot of information about products at you, so let’s have a little peek at what you might find in each room of your house.

Nursery

Snuggle Nest

This is bound to be one of the most popular items of the whole event! You may have heard of Poddle Pods, which are great for young babies to nap in. They can also be used for tummy time, sponge baths and nappy changes.

This Aldi version (no longer available) is being sold for a snip of the price at £19.99. That’s 60% less than Poddle Pods retail for! They come in two lovely starry designs; grey and white or multicoloured.

Motorola Baby Monitor

This baby monitor looks great. It has a high sensitivity microphone and allows you to hear your baby’s cries and snuffles from up to 50 metres away.

It is £16.99 and comes with a one year warranty.

Food pouches

You can get multipacks of Mamia food pouches during this event. At £4.40 for an 8 pack of ‘Apples & Bananas’, that works out as around 55p per pouch. That’s great value!

Playroom

Kirkton House Town Play Mat

At £9.99, this play mat looks like great fun! As a child, I entertained myself for hours with my play mat and toy cars.

There’s also a race track mat!

Numbers Building Blocks Puzzles

There are several puzzles available during this event. One of my favourites is this one, which helps children to learn how to count. It also comes with a book!

Aldi are selling these for only £2.99.

Bathroom

Aldi have kindly sent me some of their specialbuys to try out.

Nuby Octopus Bath Toy

This little octopus floats in the bath and you lasso its friends onto its tentacles. It’s being sold for only £2.99 and is a lot of fun. It’s suitable from 18 months upwards, so I gave it a little test drive myself as Autumn is only 10 months. BPA free, it helps with your little one’s hand-eye coordination skills!

Nuby Foam Animals Bath Toy

These foam animals are bright, fun and float in the bath! These are for 3 years upwards, so again it was me that got to play with them! They stick to the wall, so I’ll probably just leave them high on the wall for now as some stimulation for Autumn.

Nuby Bath Ball Toy

Now, I couldn’t actually find this toy on Aldi’s website. However, as they sent one to me, I am assuming it will be part of the event in stores tomorrow. It’s a great toy that is suitable from 3 months upwards. It has two balls inside that jingle and have friendly faces on. When you fill it with water in the bath and lift it out, water flows out of the bottom like a watering can. Autumn thinks it’s great fun!

Other

There are also lots of other great offers in the event. There’s a stroller/pushchair for £59.99 which looks fantastic. There are also changing bags, muslin cloths, bibs and bouncers amongst other things. Of course I’ve already mentioned the baby wipes which I like to stock up on, as well as boxes of nappies. I definitely recommend checking it out if you haven’t before!
