Last week, I celebrated my 26th birthday. I can’t believe that this year, my husband and I have been together for a whole decade! I’m also very scared of how close I’m getting to the big three-oh. It feels like time has just flown terrifyingly fast since I left school.
Anyway, it seems like a good time to set some goals for the following year. So, why not do that cliché blogger thing and think of 26 as that’s how many years I’ve been on the planet? View Post
It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed anything techy, so I leapt at the opportunity to try the Utopia 360° Elite Edition VR Headset with HD Stereo Headphones. Virtual reality is something that’s really taken off over the last few years and has been used in advertising and even featured in music videos.
I’ve used Google Cardboard at work when testing panoramas created by the software, but of course one of its main uses is for gaming. There are plenty of games you can buy from the App Store or Play store, many of which are free! View Post
A few weeks ago, one of my best friends went to Bluewater and saw the following advert for black pantyliners in a changing room:
She took a photo of it and sent it to our Facebook messenger group. A whole conversation ensued. Why were Bodyform making black liners? It almost seemed like it was something that could be an April fool. However, it is actually a real product! View Post
It’s a very rare moment these days that I get to sit back and relax. I’ve had some anxiety issues since childhood and am not very good at relaxing. However, one way I like to relax is with some lovely scented candles. Recently, I’ve seen candles online where there is a hidden treasure waiting inside! Dave bought me one the year before last which looked like a Pokeball and had a little plastic Pokemon inside it. However, in a classier move which is more suitable to most people’s tastes, The Charming Candle Co. have jewellery inside theirs. (That’s not to say I didn’t love the Pokemon one I was given though, being the geek I am). View Post
I’ve desperately wanted to go to Download Festival since I was about 13 or 14. However, I was prevented from going with some anxiety issues I’d had since childhood and a lack of money! When my husband won tickets, I was delighted and determined to enjoy a weekend of rock and metal! View Post
