Whether it’s for a date night or something less fun, there’s always a first time that you have to leave your baby or toddler. This is often difficult the first time round, but it does get better! In the meantime, there are things you can do to make it easier for both you and your child.

A couple of months have passed since my last update on Autumn’s toddler swimming lessons with Puddle Ducks. She’s had lessons (with a break in the middle) since she was a three month old baby and she’s now 17 months. Over the last few weeks, though, I have really noticed her skills developing quickly. Stylish and full of mod cons, the Optima PHEV is Kia’s first plug-in hybrid model. We had the car for the weekend. It’s the same story for my hands every winter. They get dry, crack, bleed and sting every time I wash them or use hand cream. This has only got worse since becoming a mother! Now, a new survey has shown that dry skin on hands ages them by an average of 9 years. Some hands were even ‘perceived to be 47 years older than their true age’. Meanwhile, healthy hands were ‘perceived to be younger than their actual age 56% of the time’.
