We’re just coming to the start of October half term week and you’re probably thinking about what to do with your little ones to keep them occupied other than visiting a pumpkin farm or apple picking. Well, if they’re fans of Milkshake,The Orchard Theatre is the place to go! Milkshake Live brings a fairy tale journey to the stage, with the help of Milkshake’s characters and two of their presenters.
What is Milkshake! Live about?
Travelling around the UK, Milkshake! Live is on its 4th nationwide tour, this time with The Magic Storybook. This show takes the audience on a journey through much-loved fairy tales that will be familiar for you and your children.
The show is very interactive with music, dancing and singing that children will enjoy bopping along to.
Want to get an idea of what it’ll be like? The trailer below captures some of the fun and magic your children will experience!
Which characters will be there?
Many familiar Milkshake! characters will be taking to the stage. These include Winnie and Wilbur, Fireman Sam, Noddy, Toyland Detective, Bob the Builder and Little Princess. I’m interested to see how all the different characters will fit into the stories.
Which presenters will be there?
All 6 presenters will be doing Milkshake! shows around the country. Derek, Jen, Sita, Olivia, Amy and David all have a wealth of experience and are sure to put on a great show. Two of the presenters from Milkshake! are present for each show around the country.
When is it?
Milkshake! Live, The Magic Storybook comes to The Orchard Theatre in Dartford on Wednesday 24th October. Performances are at 11am and 2pm and last approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. You can see prices and book your tickets here.
Should you want to have lunch as part of your day out, there is also a restaurant at The Orchard Theatre. My husband and I have previously dined there and it was delicious!
