Review: Muru Jewellery

I love fashion, but am notoriously picky when it comes to accessories. If my mum wants to buy me a handbag for Christmas, for instance, she’ll ask me to send her a list of ones I do like. It’s a similar story when it comes to jewellery. When an email arrived in my inbox from Muru jewellery I went to have a peek at their site, sceptical about whether there were many pieces I would like. So, what was my verdict?

3 things in 15 minutes to feel more “you”, less “mum”

As wonderful as motherhood is, a lot does change and that takes some adjusting to! I often find myself putting on the same combinations of jeans and t-shirts or jumpers each day. Once I’ve finished work, I slap on some concealer and foundation, quickly put a brush through my hair and rush off to collect Autumn from her childminder. With all the additional things to do in my daily life, I’ve definitely not taken care of myself as much. I’ve been meaning to paint my nails for weeks now, but they’re still bare. Molly Brown – children’s jewellery to be treasured

Autumn loves borrowing my husband‘s bracelet and trying it on. She absolutely delights in putting it on and looking at it. I opted for the Her Love Bangle, which allows for the middle three hearts to be personalised with the child’s initials and I couldn’t wait for it to arrive!

What I wore to Download Festival 2017

Before I went to Download festival, I wasn’t really sure what to wear. Of course, it’s a rock and metal event, so clothing doesn’t matter as much as a lot of the other festivals around.

However, I didn’t want to be underdressed or stick out like a sore thumb, so I did some research on the internet first. I found other blogs and trawled google images, searching “What to wear to Download festival“.
