At the end of August, we squeezed a little holiday to Cornwall in. We wanted to surprise my family and kept costs down by camping. This was a little nerve-wracking, as it was Autumn’s first time camping and we were approximately a 7 hour drive from home! We were only there for three days, but we managed to pack a lot into them!

Soundtracks of my summers
I have always really loved music and had an eclectic taste from a young age. I notice what I listen to often changes with the seasons. After all, in the summer I’m out and about more with my husband and it’s often feel-good pop songs on the radio when the sun is shining! Thinking back, there is always one song each year that really reminds me of that summer. Here I look back through the stand-out songs to me thinking back to summers gone and the memories that relate to them.

Bluestone, Wales – The perfect family summer holiday
Booking a holiday is always fun, I love the whole planning process and making an itinerary. We visited Bluestone in Pembrokeshire, Wales shortly before Christmas. However, we were invited back there last week and I was looking forward to seeing how much it differed in the summer! Our family loves a good staycation and there’s certainly no reason why you can’t have a great holiday in the UK.
