Getting Started

To get started, all you need to do is wash up your cup and pop it in the freezer for 5-6 hours. Then you’re ready to start experimenting with different flavoured slushies! Exciting!

You can use fruit juices, milk and even alcohol! Just pick your flavours and pour them in to the slushy cup.

Get Squeezing

Set a timer for 1 minute (or just wing it, if that’s your style). Then get squeezing and squashing the cup. As you feel the ice crunch under your fingers, it’s actually quite satisfying in a way similar to popping bubble wrap! However, it’s even better once you see your drink beginning to form into a slushy!

Enjoy!

Enjoy scooping your slushy with the spoon, then drinking the last bits through the straw handle. My daughter has been absolutely loving it and we’ve found it really fun too.

So far we’ve tried orange juice, rum and coke and chocolate milkshake! All were really tasty and turned into a slushy really well. My daughter wants to try pear juice next and I’m keen to make a slushy mojito. Perhaps with the next ones, we’ll add some berries on top for a touch of luxury, making it even more of a treat!

Mess Free

As an adult, I know you’re already thinking about the mess factor. You’re already envisioning stuff everywhere and so much cleaning and washing up. Well, that’s not a problem with Chill Factor. It’s all very self-contained and there’s literally just a cup and spoon to wash up after use. I was worried that mess would be an issue and that it would be difficult to clean, but that hasn’t been the case.

Colours

Chill Factor Slushy Makers come in three colours: neon pink, neon green and neon blue. We have the latter! The colours are vibrant enough for kids to love them. However, the colour scheme is sophisticated enough for adults too. Why not collect all of them and have one each?
