Review: Comfy bean bag chair for indoors & garden

Review¦ I have always really liked bean bags. They’re so comfy to read a book or watch TV on – even more so when they’re in chair form! BeanBag Bazaar have kindly sent one for me to test out that is not only suitable inside the home, but outside in the garden too!

Icon® Indoor Outdoor Bean Bag Armchair

This bean bag arm chair is a comfortable contemporary style that blends in beautifully, whether you use it outdoors or indoors. Taking inspiration from nature, beauty and calmness, it supports you as you sit back and relax. Four colour options (charcoal, sage green, navy and terracotta) mean that there’s a colour to suit you and where you want to place it. I went for charcoal (which I found looked a little lighter in real life than on my screen).

It arrives half full of beans, with the rest of the beans in a bag. Although you require two pairs of hands to put the rest of the beans in, it is very straightforward and you’ll be chilling out on it in no time. The internal and external zips ensure that the beans all stay safely inside.

Practicality

I have been using my bean bag chair so much since it arrived. Whether I’m watching a film, or lounging around with a book in the evening sun in the garden, it’s a really comfortable place to sit. It is soft, but sturdy enough to support your body – it even has arm rests!

Meanwhile, these stylish chairs are made with water-resistant fabric. Thankfully this has meant that when there’s been an unexpected shower outside, there has been no need to worry! These bean bag chairs also have a faux leather handle, making them practical for carrying around depending on where you want them.
