Gifted (Cinema Experience)¦ Unfortunately I didn’t get to go with Autumn for her first cinema visit, so on Saturday morning I was excited to go to the cinema with her for the first time. We were invited to see Showcase Cinema de Lux Bluewater’s screening of Big Screen Heroes: PAW Patrol and Top Wing. Autumn enjoys Top Wing and is a HUGE fan of Paw Patrol, so she couldn’t wait either!

Autumn ran through the door from the corridor into the cinema screen as she just couldn’t wait to watch Top Wing and Paw Patrol! Stylish blue lights illuminated her way and helped us to locate our seats. Thanks to the customisable recliner seating, it took no time for us to get ourselves comfortable with our drinks and snacks. However, I actually fell asleep part way through an episode of Top Wing because the seating was so comfortable! I was rudely awoken by Autumn angrily tapping on my glasses, telling me that I had to watch what was happening!
We saw 4 episodes of Top Wing and 2 Paw Patrol episodes with a flying theme. Autumn loves rescue type programmes and is a big fan of Skye from Paw Patrol. They mixed the episodes up rather than doing blocks of Paw Patrol and Top Wing. Consequently, I think it helped to keep the interest there for the children. Autumn was transfixed the entire time and really enjoyed herself! I don’t usually really watch Top Wing or Paw Patrol with her. I generally use the time to try and get something productive done while she’s entertained! However, in spite of my nap, I did actually find myself enjoying the story lines and laughing along with them. All in all we had a lovely morning and Autumn didn’t want to leave!
