Autumn loves her food, but I worry about her eating too many things that aren’t good for her. After all, a lot of convenient on-the-go foods have scary levels of salt and sugar in them, even when they’re marketed at children! Meanwhile, at 18 months old, her taste-buds have become more sensitive to flavours. If my husband provides her with some chocolate buttons, some chunks of pear and blueberries, the fruit will all go straight on the floor! Therefore, it’s important that healthy snacks are presented to her carefully and in a fun way, like Googly Fruit‘s organic products.
When I was pregnant with Autumn, I had a list of things to buy longer than my arm. Near the top of my list were the all-important sterilising and antibacterial products you need with a new baby. Parents have trusted Milton for over 70 years. I actually remember my mum using their products 20 years ago when my brother was a baby. As such, I trusted them and turned to them to help keep things clean enough for my baby! View Post
Whether it’s for a date night or something less fun, there’s always a first time that you have to leave your baby or toddler. This is often difficult the first time round, but it does get better! In the meantime, there are things you can do to make it easier for both you and your child.
A couple of months have passed since my last update on Autumn’s toddler swimming lessons with Puddle Ducks. She’s had lessons (with a break in the middle) since she was a three month old baby and she’s now 17 months. Over the last few weeks, though, I have really noticed her skills developing quickly. It’s amazing to see! View Post
After Autumn was born, I used normal cotton baby towels on her. They did the job and we had some absolutely beautiful towels gifted to us when she was first born. However, when I first used a bamboo towel on her, I was amazed. The material was softer and much more absorbent.
