As someone who has suffered from cystic acne from the age of 13, I’ve tried out loads of skin products over the years. I’ve always hoped to find that holy grail product and had some luck with various acids. However, when it comes to cleansers, toners and moisturisers, I’ve finally come to realise that nothing is probably going to help that much. Over the last few months, I’ve been trying out some Skintifique products without using anything else to see what happened. With scientific backing, claims to keep out pollution and metals and the promise to be kind to sensitive skin, these products were something different for me to try.
If you have a baby, chances are you may have heard of Childs Farm. Whilst I’ve tried out other great bathtime products, I’ve been itching to try out these products since Autumn was a newborn. I was delighted when I was approached with a lovely gift hamper to test out.
Autumn loves her bath time, so she’s always more than happy to be my little guinea pig when it comes to trying out bath products! View Post
If you’ve been following my blog and social media accounts, you’ll remember that I went to the press launch of This Morning Live at the ITV Studios in London last month. With home, garden and lifestyle stands, we were excited to go to the show in Birmingham. There were just two things standing in our way…a teething baby and a 150 mile journey in torrential rain! I’ve seen a few variations of this tag floating around, but the general jist seems to be that you answer 25 beauty related questions. You then think of 25 questions and tag other beauty bloggers to answer them! While I’m not primarily a beauty blogger, I do occasionally blog about beauty products (including these reviews on Kat Von D’s liquid lipstick and Benefit’s Roller Lash). I love blogging about beauty, I just don’t feel I’m good enough with beauty products to blog about them all the time! View Post
When I visited Bluewater a couple of weeks ago, I went to buy some of my usual makeup products that I was running low on. While I was browsing, a sheet mask caught my eye. It’s a hydrating mask, which I thought could possibly help my dry skin. My skin has also been very dull of late; one of the things that has changed since I’ve become a mum is that skincare has gone out of the window!
Yesterday evening, after two days of intense spring cleaning, I thought I deserved a treat. I spotted the Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask in my drawer and thought “Why not?” Besides, my skin has been feeling even more lacklustre since we went to London last week. I always feel like all the pollutants have an effect on it! View Post
