Last Friday, we went to check out Dinotropolis Adventure Park which opened at Bluewater last month. Autumn loved dinosaurs, so as soon as I heard about it I thought she’d enjoy it. In fact, the night before, we’d had dinner at neighbouring Rosa’s Thai Cafe and she’d been excitedly shouting “DINOSAUR!” at the advert on the wall! As we headed to our booking at 2pm, we were looking forward to some lunch and dinosaur themed fun. View Post
Have you been to see Fantastic Beasts: The Crime of Grindelwald yet? We went to see it at a local cinema’s premier a couple of days ahead of the release date and thought it was great! I’ve been a big Harry Potter fan since I was 8. As such, this continuation of the franchise is very welcome to me. The nifflers in the latest film were so cute! I was delighted when Kids @ Play Toys sent us some adorable plushies to review! View Post
Do your children ever want to play with snow, but it’s one of the 361 days of the year that there isn’t snow on the ground? Well, there is a solution! Floof is white like snow, and although it has a different texture, you can have lots of the same kind of fun with it! It’s soft, squashy and moldable, without the melting problem. You can even make snowballs and have snowball fights with it if you want to! I found out about Floof at the Blog On Toys conference last month and over the last couple of weeks Autumn and I have been putting it to the test.
I was quite late to the game when it came to baby wearing. This was partially due to a rough start for both Autumn and I. I wanted to baby wear, but simply didn’t feel up to it. When I finally did, I had a cheap stretchy wrap that I just couldn’t get the hang of. So, it was only when Autumn was about 10 months old that I went to a sling library and tried out a couple of slings. A structured style, similar to the Pao Papoose, really worked well for me. I also found that baby wearing is so practical too. View Post
We recently had the pleasure of being asked to review a Kia Optima Sportswagon, to be a little more precise, a 2.0 GDi PHEV automatic. Stylish and full of mod cons, the Optima PHEV is Kia’s first plug-in hybrid model. We had the car for the weekend. Two days wasn’t long, but we tried it out the best we could in that time in a bid to unleash its full potential! View Post
