Review: A whale of a time with gelli and slime

Gifted Autumn and I really enjoy sensory play. Of course, it’s great for her development too. Amongst other things, it helps to develop fine motor skills and aid creativity. We recently tried out Gelli Baff, Slime Baff and Slime Play from Zimpli Kids. View Post

An afternoon of family fun at South Aylesford Retail Park

An afternoon of family fun at South Aylesford Retail Park

Sponsored Post During half term, there are always lots of activities on for children. This past week hasn’t been an exception, and yesterday we went to participate in some pond dipping at Tyland Barn in Sandling, near Aylesford. We then rounded off the afternoon nicely with a fun visit to the toy shop, some rabbits and the Nando’s at nearby South Aylesford Retail Park! View Post

Review: Dinotropolis Adventure Park with a toddler

Last Friday, we went to check out Dinotropolis Adventure Park which opened at Bluewater last month. Autumn loved dinosaurs, so as soon as I heard about it I thought she’d enjoy it. As we headed to our booking at 2pm, we were looking forward to some lunch and dinosaur themed fun. View Post

Excitement is mounting about the semi-final of Strictly Come Dancing this weekend. We know who our semi-finalists are, and now we know what dances they’ll do to what music. The competition is close and we can only guess who will be victoriously holding that glitterball trophy on Saturday 15th December.  Fortunately, once the final sequinned dress has left the stage at the grand final, the fun can still continue! The Strictly Come Dancing Board Game is a great game to play with all the family over Christmas to relinquish your post-Strictly blues. View Post

Review: Pointless Board Game

My husband and I are currently trying to put aside one evening a week for a date night. Of course, going out every week would be expensive and we wouldn’t want to ask family to look after Autumn that frequently. As such, we usually spend the time at home. Something we really enjoy is playing board games together. Recently, we’ve been asked to review the Pointless board game, which is based on the popular BBC TV show. View Post
