I love fashion, but am notoriously picky when it comes to accessories. If my mum wants to buy me a handbag for Christmas, for instance, she’ll ask me to send her a list of ones I do like. It’s a similar story when it comes to jewellery. When an email arrived in my inbox from Muru jewellery I went to have a peek at their site, sceptical about whether there were many pieces I would like. So, what was my verdict? View Post
Have you ever wanted to treat someone special with a piece of jewellery but couldn’t decide on what suited their personality? Not everyone likes a pair of earrings and some people are averse to wearing certain precious metals, whether due to specific allergies or personal preference.
There are many styles of jewellery available from organic materials such as wood and fibres to special metals and semi-rare gems such as gold, platinum, rubies and emeralds to name a few. View Post

It’s been absolutely ages since I last wrote about Autumn’s favourite books. She still absolutely adores books, so much so that a few months ago I bought a small bookshelf for our living room. As it’s at such a low height, she can get her books herself and look through them independently or ask us to read them. Although her vocabulary obviously doesn’t extend that far, being 13 months old, she waves the book at one of us and makes a noise! Although she looks at all of them, she has some definite favourites at the moment. View Post
Still on a high from Blog On Xmas in Manchester, I was excited for my second bloggers event! It was an evening event which took place at the beautiful, historic Layer Marney Tower in Colchester, Essex last Thursday.
I’m a sucker for pretty old buildings and I was delighted to see beautiful wooden beams on the ceiling as I walked in.
