Sheffield Park in East Sussex is renowned for its beautiful autumn colours. I’d say it’s definitely one of the best places to see the autumn colours in the South East. A National Trust property, it boasts acres of landscaped gardens with park and woodland. October was a very busy month for us. I went back to work, I was under the weather for most of the month and it just generally seemed to whizz by. When we got to the beginning of this week, I realised that we hadn’t visited Sheffield Park.
Fortunately, I must have expressed this to my husband. On Thursday morning we went to drop off my car to the garage first thing. As he drove me back home through the country lanes, I gazed across the fog on the marshes and the gentle sunlight dancing on the frost in the fields. It was a beautiful morning made better by the fact that he then announced he’d taken the day off and was taking us to Sheffield Park! View Post
Last week, my Mum and I decided to pay a visit to Rochester. I love Rochester, with its many pubs and eateries. It also has a lovely variety of quirky shops, perfect for finding gifts for people or something unusual for yourself. I think it is one of the few places where you could probably find something for everyone. View Post
We had a lovely day out on Saturday (8th April). We went to the Baby & Toddler Show at Sandown Park in Surrey. I’m always on the look out for new brands whose products I can try with Autumn. Of course, being a blogger, I’m always interested in working with brands too! Later in the afternoon we found some Lindt bunnies at Bluewater before we went home. View Post
As my friends keep reminding me, as I have recently turned 25 I am now closer to 30 than I am 20! Quite frankly, this kind of scares me as time seems to have gone so fast since I was 16 and seems to go quicker each year. As such, I felt the need to make a list of things I’d like to do before I turn 30. Hopefully I can achieve quite a few of these, so even if the time goes quickly, I’ll feel like I’ve achieved a lot with it!
Every year since 2011, there has been an event called Kent Big Weekend/The Big Weekend. This year, it takes place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd April.
Kent Big Weekend allows thousands of residents in Kent to enjoy a day out at one of 117 of the many tourist attractions that the county has to offer. Entry closes on Friday 3rd March 2017, though, so you’ll need to be quick! View Post
