Easter trail and activities at Hever Castle

Ad – Gifted¦ Hever Castle just outside Edenbridge is one of our favourite places to explore as a family. It always looks beautiful and feels magical, no matter what season it is or what the weather is like. We hadn’t been in almost a year and were delighted to be invited back to put their children’s Easter trail and activities to the test! These run until 18th April, so they’ll be on for the rest of the school holidays too.

Review: DoodleJamz – mess-free drawing pad

Review – Gifted¦ Autumn loves getting creative and has been annoyed before when we’ve told her she can’t take her paper and pens in the car on a journey! She’s been very pleased to put DoodleJamz to the test, as she can now draw in the car. DoodleJamz are able the same size as a small tablet and are sensory drawing pads that provide hours of fun! They’re also very reasonably priced and would make an excellent non-chocolate Easter gift!

Easter Afternoon Tea at Wyevale Garden Centre

Gifted¦ On Thursday, some of my family and I went for Easter afternoon tea at Elm Court, a Wyevale Garden Centre based in Gillingham, Kent. Everything on the menu sounded brilliant, so I was just hoping it would live up to my expectations.

Easter family fun at Hever Castle

A family day out has been overdue for ages now. We have been excited about visiting Hever Castle in Kent since the beginning of the year, when we first planned to visit during the Easter school holidays! Whilst it wasn’t quite the warm spring weather we’d hoped for, the rain fortunately stayed away for the duration of our visit. This lent itself to us fully enjoying the Lindt gold bunny hunt as we explored the beautiful gardens surrounding the castle!

Baby's Easter Outfit

A letter to my daughter at 7 months old

Dear Autumn,

I say this every month, but time is going much too fast! It seems barely any time has passed since I was writing a letter to you at 6 months old! You’re so big now, it hurts my back to carry you. Nanny found my book from when I was a baby and you weigh around 3lbs more than I did when I was your age!

What a good girl. When you came out of hospital after being seriously ill, I kept telling you to drink your milk. I told you that it would make you grow big and strong! Here we are almost half a year later and you’re doing so well.
