Review: Dinotropolis Adventure Park with a toddler

Review: Dinotropolis Adventure Park with a toddler

Last Friday, we went to check out Dinotropolis Adventure Park which opened at Bluewater last month. Autumn loved dinosaurs, so as soon as I heard about it I thought she’d enjoy it. In fact, the night before, we’d had dinner at neighbouring Rosa’s Thai Cafe and she’d been excitedly shouting “DINOSAUR!” at the advert on the wall! As we headed to our booking at 2pm, we were looking forward to some lunch and dinosaur themed fun. View Post

The Premiere of Fantastic Beasts 2 at Showcase Cinemas, Bluewater

Last night my husband and I attended the Bluewater premiere of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, which is officially released on Friday (16th November). Entering the IMAX screen at Showcase Cinema Bluewater, 3D glasses in hand, the air was buzzing.  View Post

Preparing a short break to Norfolk

Preparing a short break to Norfolk

I haven’t been on holiday to Norfolk since I was 9. However, it’s a holiday I have very fond memories of. I particularly enjoyed Great Yarmouth and sailing a boat along the Norfolk Broads. We recently took Autumn camping in Cornwall, but I’d actually planned to camp closer to home in somewhere like Norfolk or Dorset first! Norfolk is about 2 hours from us in Kent, perfect for a short break. I’ve been chatting to the blogging community about what there is to do in Norfolk if you, like me, are considering having a holiday there. View Post

An Arriva adventure to Kent Life

An Arriva adventure to Kent Life

Catching the bus is a daily experience, usually taking people from A-B for work or school. How often do we think outside the box and go for a day out on one, though? Last weekend we decided to do just that and go for an adventure on Arriva’s 155 Chatham to Maidstone bus. We took Autumn to Kent Life, as she absolutely adores animals and we knew she’d have lots of fun! View Post

Acorn Dell at Hever Castle: A day in pictures

Acorn Dell at Hever Castle: A day in pictures

We were recently invited to the opening of a new play area for children under 7 at Hever Castle, which took place yesterday. This new playground, fittingly called Acorn Dell, blends in with the Tudor Towers play area. It continues the castle theme, with castellations featuring in both the play area and the seating area at the top. The natural aesthetic of the playground is fantastic and encourages children to use their imagination.

JB Gill, formerly of JLS, who presents Down on the Farm on CBeebies was the guest of honour to cut the blue ribbon before the playground was opened. His wife Chloe and 3 year-old son Ace also attended. Of course, the new playground needed some little testers!  View Post
