Last Tuesday, Autumn and I both had what was probably a once in a lifetime experience. We were asked to attend a (non blog related) event with Family Action. The VIP guest was none other than our future Queen, the Duchess of Cambridge!
This was a very exciting prospect for me, as I’ve always followed her in the media and found her very likeable. However, I was also looking forward to helping Family Action to express various perinatal mental health issues and just how necessary their support is. View Post
Last month, I decided that I was going to challenge myself to help three charities. October was a lot more hectic than I anticipated, but I still managed to support all three of them. However, my promotion of that was a little lacklustre I feel. Still, I’m still fairly new to the world of ‘proper’ blogging. As such, it’s another experience to learn from and make better for next time! I always try to help at least one charity each year, and if I can use my blogging voice to do that then that is amazing.

I always try to do at least one or two things for charity in the course of a year. However, we’ve now reached October and I don’t think I remember doing anything so far this year! I’ve just been so busy with Autumn, the blog and university and the run-up to work that I guess I forgot. As such, this month I’m doing a couple of things for charity. My chosen charities are Breast Cancer Care, Maternity Worldwide and Smalls for All.
I’m doing a variety of things to help these charities, it’s not all just sponsorship! Let’s explore what they’re doing and how I’m helping them in a little further depth.
