Writing about my hopes and dreams for the future. I’ll reflect upon this post this time next year.
So, in the latest of tags I’ve been nominated to take part in, you have to write about your goals for the next year then come back and reflect on them in a year’s time. It sounds like an interesting tag to me! Thanks to Andrea and Hallie for nominating me!
- Thank the person who tagged you
- Set yourself goals for the next year
- Write how you’re going to achieve these goals
- Tag at least 5 of your blogger friends to do this tag
- Then, in 365 days write a post reflecting on your goals and what you achieved!

This is the third blogger award I’ve been nominated for now! They say three’s a crowd, but it certainly isn’t when it comes to awards. The more the merrier, as far as I’m concerned!
I was nominated for this award by the lovely Tasha at It’s a Tasha thing. Thank you Tasha!

This is my post accepting The Blogger Recognition Award.
Today I’m treating you to two blog posts, because yesterday I was nominated for The Blogger Recognition Award. I’d like to say a huge thank you to A Mindful Geek for nominating me. It means a lot to know that someone is enjoying what you write and thinks you deserve recognition for it. Continue reading “The Blogger Recognition Award”
Here are my answers to the Sunshine Blogger Quiz. I think it’s a lovely way to get to know fellow bloggers!
Intrigued, I read this post by The Unnatural Mother a few days ago, which was titled ‘The Sunshine Blogger Quiz’. It turns out that The Sunshine Blogger Quiz is just a bit of fun between bloggers, where they are asked questions by someone and then they ask someone else some questions. It helps readers to find out more about the person behind the blog, which I think is always nice!
The Unnatural Mother didn’t tag anyone specific, she simply asked people to comment on the post if they wanted to take part, so that’s what I did!

When do you first start feeling like a mom/mother/mum? This post discusses when I first felt like I was a mum. Was it when I took my positive pregnancy test? Was it when I saw my baby on the sonographer’s screen or was it once she was actually born?
It was late January 2016 that I took my positive pregnancy test, so I’ve been thinking a lot about this time last year. I was thinking about when I started being a mum and when I started feeling like a mum. Without getting into a pro-life vs. pro-choice debate, I’d like to share my story and discuss with you when you first started being a mum. Continue reading “When do you start feeling like a mother?”
After being nominated for the Liebster Award, I am answering my questions and nominating some other great bloggers.
I’m very happy and honoured right now, as yesterday I was nominated for the Liebster Award by the lovely Zoe over at LycraWidow! Thank you!
The Liebster Award is given by bloggers to other bloggers who they think are deserving of an award. Then, should they choose to accept the award, the nominated bloggers write a blog post answering 11 questions from the person nominating them, list 11 facts about themselves and list some nominees of their own!
After some happy dancing when I received my nomination, I got myself a packet of mini eggs and sat down to answer Zoe’s questions.

Sharing the story of my second sensory room play session with my baby girl.
A couple of weeks ago, I posted about baby Autumn and I playing in the sensory room for the first time. Today we went back to have some more fun and do some more learning. Autumn had her jabs this morning, so the poor little thing has been grumpy all day and almost constantly grizzling. The sensory room seemed to help distract her to some extent for a while though.
