If you’ve been following my blog and social media accounts, you’ll remember that I went to the press launch of This Morning Live at the ITV Studios in London last month. With home, garden and lifestyle stands, we were excited to go to the show in Birmingham. There were just two things standing in our way…a teething baby and a 150 mile journey in torrential rain!
Sometimes we have memories from childhood that stand out in our mind. It doesn’t always necessarily always make sense to us as adults. However, occasionally it’s because something happened that elicited strong emotions at the time. Even if we would have responded differently now and it seems a little silly, these events can sometimes have a lasting effect on us.
A couple of months ago, I was sent a book to review, Maternity Leavers by Soozi Baggs. I don’t often find the time to sit down and read, now that Autumn is on the move, so it’s taken me a little longer than first anticipated to get round to this. However, I’m glad that I found some time to read this. I think it’s difficult for many women on maternity leave to make a decision about work. Some can’t wait to get back, while others dread it and either try to be a full time stay at home mum or work from home/become self-employed.
Planning where to go on holiday as a family can be a somewhat daunting task. You need to find somewhere that has suitable activities for everyone, somewhere accessible and somewhere with desirable weather! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know that I’m hoping to visit Pembrokeshire, Cornwall or France as soon as possible. I’ve made no secret of it on social media that I’m disappointed that I don’t have a holiday booked for this year. However, in the meantime I can simultaneously dream and advise you on what you NEED to consider when planning YOUR family trip!
Last Friday was a very exciting day indeed. We were invited by Netmums to attend the press launch of This Morning Live. This was held in the studio of This Morning itself, at ITV in The London Television Centre. The event was full of fun and information about This Morning Live, which is being held at the NEC Arena, Birmingham from 18th-21st May 2017.
